‼️Should I Lift Weights?‼️

The obvious answer

YES

Everyone should be doing some form of resistance training.

No matter your age.

And it s never to late to start.

But why should we?

1️⃣ Fat loss.

Standard by product of weight training. I’m going steer clear of saying weight loss as it not that important, the loss of body fat is.

As you train with weights (resistance) your body will start to build lean muscle.

Lean muscle, that stuff that shapes you and holds you together?

That stuff hates fat and shaky things.

It’s firm.

It’s shaped like a goddess

And it fights body fat for you.

The more lean muscle you build

=

the less body fat you’ll carry 🌹

2️⃣ Ageing

Your going to age a lot quicker and feel a lot older than you actually are if you do not train.

Look at that person who’s been training for years who’s your age and the things they can still do that you can’t?

Weight training is not only going to reverse the signs of ageing but enhance your daily life.

It’ll fight back against the hormone changes you all go through.

It’ll fight back against wrinkles and brain power.

It’s a marvel you all need to be doing.

3️⃣ Confidence

Confidence in you!

I’m not talking fake confidence that you see all around you.

I’m talking real, true confidence in one’s self.

You do 12 reps of squats or deadlifts and you see your weights increasing month by month?

That builds truth.

Nobody can take it away from you or say any difference.

What sets you apart?

Is YOU know you can do. YOU no you can graft through hardship 🦸‍♀️

4️⃣ Aches and pains

Aches and pains are 90% due to lack of movement

Weight training fixes most of it (with guidance)

Your knees

Your back

Your hips

And so on…

Can all be reversed with weight training.

What’s harder?

Living in pain and it getting worse?

Or

Doing something about it and being free from it?

5️⃣ Mental health

A trained body is a clear mind.

If i personally cut back on my training regime my mental health slips and slips fast.

There’s all kinds of modern medicine out there now, but none compare to working out.

If you put yourself into a training regime and stay with it you’ll mental health will move with you.

Upwards!

Most of modern day depression stems from lack of physical activity.

We know it’s true.

But we like to cover it up because it’s hard work.

But remember to get something you have to give something first 🌹
